I just applied to the UC’s for Fall 2022. My top choice is UCSD. I was interested in Linguistics, but now I am more interested in Cognitive Science and Design. I checked ASSIST and I am missing some prereqs. Is there any way to change my major if I get in as a Linguistics major?
AFAIK, Cog Sci is not capped at UCSD so you should be able to switch to it if you get accepted.
