Can I change my major to this?

Is it relatively easy to change my major from chemistry/biology to chemical engineering or some other engineering major? It would be at Purdue or University of Michigan....maybe even Pitt.

You’re probably better off starting in the college of engineering and seeing if you want to swap out. Often engineers have to take an intro engineering course freshman year, and most classes after that are sequential. If you’re in engineering you could just take the chem or bio required of chem/bio students instead of engineering chem/bio (if there is even a difference) since you’ll likely be required to do those freshman year anyway.

often engineers have to take different first year classes, you can apply for engineering for next year. its usually more competitive to get into. some of your classes can switch over like chem, physics, math, computers… but you will probably have to take new first year courses like engineering graphics. I would take to an advisory at your school immediately as application deadlines are probably may 1
