Can i change my major?

<p>I just got my acceptance from Colorado at Boulder (yay!). I applied as an engineering major but on the admit status it says i was admitted into the Arts and Sciences college instead. I read on the confirm page that they put me there as a "better fit". Is there any way to transfer into the engineering college before confirming admission? </p>

<p>Hello! From what I know, CU puts you in Arts/Sciences because your stats were not strong enough for their engineering program, but are good enough for the school in general. There isn’t a way to change your major. The only thing to do is confirm, study in Arts and Sciences for a year, and transfer to their engineering program.</p>
