I'm taking the SAT II's on October 10th...now that I've received my ACT, I think I want to retake my SAT again instead of taking SAT IIs.

Is there anyway I can change to the regular SAT? I'm assuming I can't...lol

I’m pretty sure you can, the only reason you wouldn’t be able to is because its so close to the testing date. I changed my SAT I to SAT IIs for the November date. It cost $22 and you have to do it over the phone with a credit card. Call CollegeBoard’s customer service number.

Question #2: Would it be a good idea to retake the SAT again instead of SATIIs?

I got a 27 on the ACT (26 the first time) and a 1620 my first time ever taking the SAT. I’m applying to a few reach schools like NYU, Northwestern, and then some matches like Boston University, Fordham, Loyola Chicago. Should I retake the SAT then or take the SATIIs? None of these schools require SATIIs (NYU/Northwestern say they’re recommended)
