I signed up to take the upcoming November subject tests in Chemistry and Math 1 in June this year. I have changed my decision and now want to take Math 2 and Biology instead. Can I take these tests instead of the ones I signed up for? If so are there any costs involved? And also, whom do I notify that I took different tests, if taking different tests the the one you registered for is possible? I asked College Board all this, but it said it will take 2-4 weeks for processing my request, which is too late.

you dont have to tell collegeboard anything. on the test day, you get a big booklet with all the tests, and you can simply take any tests that you want (up to three). you can change your mind if you want, without notifying anyone.

im also taking math 2 and biology on the third; what have you been doing to study?

I am studying Kaplan 2007-2008 for math 2, and Biology I just decided on whim that I'm taking the test. I took biology honors in 10th grade, and now I'm in 12th, but based on the sample questions on College Board, I thought it was common sense, except for terms and all that, which I can memorize from a book I get from the library. If I find it hard upon looking at it closer, I will take Literature instead, to possibly cover my low CR score on the SAT 1.

it doesnt cost any money. it only costs money if you want to change from taking subject tests to the reasoning test. you dont have to pay for only switching subject tests.

I just realized this after taking the test on Nov 3. I had registered to take Chem and Math IC on that day, but instead I took Math IIC and Math IC. On my College Board account, it says chemistry, but will they change it to math IIc once the scores are out?

just so you know... bio is not an easy test. I did much more prep for bio (in addition to honors biology frosh year), and I found the lit test much easier. I would go with lit if I were you.
