I took a dual credit class during my junior year in high school at a community college and i failed it during summer. Then 3 years after that, I'm attending a 4 year university and I haven't transfered anything to it. Now i'm taking another class there during the summer, but I want a better grade from what i got. I can repeat the class this fall at my 4 year university. Can i just choose not to order the transcript of these two summer classes and not transfer them like they never happened? or will anyone find out?
Also, is there a punishment for not transfering? (it would be my decision huh? :P)
Anyway, thanks.

Whenever you apply to a college, you are required to send a transcript from any other college classes that you have taken.

[National Student Clearinghouse: Degree verification & enrollment verification](http://www.studentclearinghouse.org/)

You have to send all transcripts for colleges you were admitted to or took classes at. They have ways to finding out which schools you were admitted to (National student clearinghouse).

If you took summer classes and failed them and then did not report the transcript to the 4 year you were admitted to, you essentially lied about your academic past to them and you are at risk of being disciplined if they ever find out.

You are obligated to supply transcripts from all colleges/universities/community colleges that you have ever attended. Whether any of the credits on those transcripts actually transfer is up to the receiving institution. Even if the credits transfer, the grade often doesn’t appear on the records of the receiving institution and does not normally factor into your GPA at that place.
