Hello, I am taking 3 AP tests this year, and I am confident on 2 of them and so-so on the 3rd.

I was wondering that when I apply to college next year, can I choose to send only those 2 of the 3 AP scores in case I do not do well on my third?

In other words, I know that you have the option to report/send scores and don't, but do you have the option to pick and choose which scores to send, or do you either have to send all of them together or none at all?

Thanks so much for your help. I'm very nervous and I really appreciate it.

I want to know the answer to this as well. Bump

In most cases, you do not send the AP score report to any of the colleges you are applying to. You simply self-report the AP scores on the Common App or the school’s own application form. (If you check the CC archives, you’ll find some old threads on which there were great debates about whether or not you needed to report all of your scores or just the ones you wanted to. Many passionate responses were made on both sides!)

The “official” score report from CB only needs to be sent to the college where you actually matriculate, and even then, only if you wish to receive the AP credit.

i checked collegeboard, and they said either all scores go or none, but you may withhold some scores. does anyone know what withholding a score means? thank you :)

by withholding the score, colleges will not see that test score on the collegeboard official report. so technically its almost as if you have never taken the test before.

last time I checked they charge you 20 bucks per score (to withhold)
