Yeah, I've seen this post in several forums too. I'd suggest getting your math score up, but don't sweat it too much... I'm an Asian who isn't brilliant in math, either. You have solid EC's and a stellar GPA, so solidify those with a great essay and I'm sure you'll be set.

Before I make any comment, I need to ask a question: "What does Eurasian mean?" Anyway, back to the discussion, I think that Brown is very selective. The accepted applicants are very diverse, and so are the student body. However, they have at least two things in common: a passion for learning and intellectual creativity. From what I've read so far, it seems like you have very good stats and have met the criteria for admission to a good university in general. However, is there any thing else that makes you unique? Does your personality blend in with the crowd or does it truly reflect your character, beliefs, and goals in life? Those are the things that give you an upper hand in the college admission process. Sometimes such a strong personality may not be pushed and achieved at will but must develop through certain experiences. Who's to say? Good luck with your admission process, and congrats on the achievements already harvested. You should be very proud.

Thank you for the lauding. Eurasian= of EURopean and ASIAN ancestry, namely japanese and scottish. So, Japottish or Scapanese work if you find Eurasian disagreeable. Furthermore, I couldn't agree more with your contention that individuality is imperative to addmittance at an institution like brown and I'd hope that I'm what you'd dub an individualist.

I see that your confidence's come across. Good job. Keep at it and let them know who you really are. By the way, I think I qualify as Eurasian too. I have French and Vietnamese ancestry lines, although I look very Hispanic and have confused other people many a time, except when I was in Greece and Spain. Sorry. As you can tell, I'm random.

Hey, don't sweat it..that is one impressive resume. It positions you apart from the rest. I have a friend who got into Brown. He had a 1560 SAT score, 770 Bio SAT 2, 800 Writing SAT II (now that is on the 2400 one), and a 800 in the Math SAT II..and also had enough extracurricular activites, not as many as you though and not as many prestigous awards...Great work man and i'm quite sure many ivy league schools would want an individual such as yourself!
