<p>My teacher has submitted the teacher recommendation form on common app, but now i feel like asking another teacher to fill up the form for me instead of her. There is a 'delete' button next to her name but i don't know what will happen once i press it. Can someone help me pleaseeeee?</p>
<p>You can still invite another teacher without deleting the original one.. just select your better recs for the school forms section when submitting. :)</p>
<p>So until i actually submit the whole application that particular recommendation would still be there eventhough the teacher has submitted it? It has not reached any colleges or anything right?</p>
<p>Here's how it works:
a. You invite a teacher to submit a rec.
b. The teacher submits the rec to commonapp.org.
c. Repeat, for as many teachers as you choose to invite.
d. The recs sit on a commonapp.org disk.
e. You prepare an application for submission (with supplement and all that jazz).
f. You hit the teacher recs page for the college you're applying to.
g. You select which recs to submit to that college.
h. The recs you selected get copied to that college's download space along with the rest of your app.</p>
<p>See, the colleges don't get to see your whole file. You could have a whole bunch of recs on file with commonapp.org and submit recs x and y to College A, recs y and z to College B, and recs x and z to College C. And then submit recs p and q to College D. The colleges will only see the recs you submit, and they won't even know (or care) that other recs exist.</p>

if you already selected your teacher, you can't change it
unless you delete the school</p>
