<p>They won’t. Law schools don’t care where you went for undergrad-- if you are an engineering major with a 3.7 from UC Berkeley and you are up against a 3.9 from Wellesley who majored in cake decorating, the 3.9 will be chosen.</p>

if you are the top student of a low rank school, why would they want you over someone who has a slightly lower gpa at a prestigious one</p>

<p>theres plenty of low ranked schools. If what you said was true, we’d only be seeing top 50 institutions in there but theres people from schools you’ve never heard of. Even CSUs are represented.</p>
