<p>I am planning to apply as a transfer student to Tufts University after my freshman year at Lasell College. I did not have stellar high school grades mostly a's and b's some c's. My Sat scores were 540 math, 620 reading and 710 writing. So not great, but I was very involved during high school. I did community service all four years, I was the alternate captain of the math team, I was captain of the varsity softball team and I was on the yearbook and the school newspaper. I am in love with Tufts and I want to be accepted very badly. I have already started working on my transfer essay and my Honors writing teacher is reading it for me. I want to apply to Tufts under the English program. Will good grades my freshman year here, my involvement in high school and a very good essay be enough to get me in?</p>
