If a college asks you to give a sense of “who you are”, how you think, what issues interest you most, etc… is it okay to tell a story about something special in your life?
Or, should I answer each portion of the question directly?

<p>Telling a story is good. The questions are not strict guidelines and answering them directly is too formulaic and usually sounds forced.</p>
