Can I double major engineering at Penn State?

I want to study Nuclear Engineering. Somebody told me that I can double major in Nuclear Engineering and Mechanical Engineering with adding only 20 extra hours. Also, can I double major in Nuclear Engineering and Aerospace Engineering?

Somebody help plzzzz!

Yes, ME and NE can be done together at PSU:

[MNE-Current Students-Undergraduate-Curriculum](http://www.me.psu.edu/Current/Ugrad/Curriculum/)

However, the course plan shows 154 credit units over 9 or 10 semesters, for students with no advanced credit:

It will depend on the school. you need to look at the undergrad catalogs at the schools that you’re interested.

Also, taking an extra 20 or so credits isn’t always that easy in eng’g. And if you need Financial aid, or you have a scholarship, you may not have coverage for that extra semester or so to fit in those extra 20+ credits.

I got accepted to Nuclear Engineering… So Can I still do it? Based on the chart it says I should have applied to Mechanical Engineering first.

Why don’t you ask the department directly?

I will… Thanks for your help!
