I am thinking about double majoring when I go to college, I am taking AP Micro/Macro Econ, so that should take some credits toward college, and PoliSci 220 for my senior year. If I do decide to double Major can it be in 2 different bachelor degrees? Like B.S. in Economics, and a B.A. in Politial Science?

How is the course load? Homework?
Thanks

It depends on the policies of the school you're going to. I have a friend who is doing what you described, though, so there you go.

If you're smart and plan it out well, double majoring doesn't necessarily give you a harder course load unless you had been planning on getting your extra non-major credits from really easy courses. Where it is difficult is in making sure you take all of the classes you need in the short time you have at college. Make sure you figure it all out early on though or you will be stuck with taking a lot of classes a few semesters or going for an extra semester/year.

The AP credits and PS class may or may not count towards your major, so just be aware of that going in. My university is very generous with AP credit which made me a technical sophomore, but very few of those given classes were deemed difficult enough to go towards my majors or general requirements beyond pre-reqs.

Homework really isn't a factor in college... it's all about studying.

Be sure to look for schools that have very flexible or no gen ed requirements. I'm triple majoring, double minoring and it's no extra work- I'm even studying abroad for a year where only half of the courses get counted and I will graduate in 4 years (and, while my school takes AP credits, they did nothing for me). However, all of my gen ed courses went directly into my majors and minors so there were no "wasted" classes in that regard.

Everything you're asking depends on the school and the majors. The info should be on any school's website. Check out the ones you're interested in.
