Can I drop a class after a TAG?

I am currently taking 12 units classes, but I want to drop one non-required class. Would it affect my TAG if I drop the class?

I would suggest not dropping it. Doing so would kick you out of tag. If it was because a major life issue came up, such as a relative dying, then you could call the admissions office and explain your situation. If you’re dropping it because you just don’t want to take the class, then don’t drop it.

Depends. If it’s a required course, needed for IGETC, or goes towards your 60 credits, then no. If not, you have to let the college know and it should be fine. BUT, I’m not sure though, a requirement for TAG might be that you have to be a full time student every semester (12 credits). Not sure about that one though. So all in all, if it’s not a class that will affect your admission (maybe a class you’re taking for fun) then it shouldn’t affect your TAG either.

UCD requires that you to be a full time for a full year before you attend in Fall.
