Can I drop a subject test but continue taking the other two?

i know for sure i'm taking bio/ ush, but i'm nervous about taking the Math2C as i tried doing some practice problems and i found them really hard! I'm taking it because i think i'm applying to business schools in the fall, but if i really don't feel confident in taking it the day of the test, could i cancel that subject test and still take the other two?? thanks :)

yes (10 char)

how do i do that ?? do i just tell the proctor??

I think you can just take two at the testing site and leave. I don't know if they'll refund you. Email collegeboard.

My daughter did this. You tell them when you come in that you are declining to take the third test (and which one it is). We didn't get a refund.

^ so i just tell the proctor? or the people lining up the kids in the front of the school/ organizers??

i'm also using a fee waiver...

I don't think you even need to tell the proctor; just go in, write your two tests, and walk out at the end of the second test.

You just lose the money you paid for the third test, if you take the first two.

There is no need to tell the proctor (or any one else) anything. The proctor tells you to turn to the page of the first exam you will be taking. You take it, and those who are only taking one exam that day leave after its over. Ditto for the second and third exam. If you don't want to take your third exam, simply take the two you want to take, turn in your booklet, and leave. The proctor neither knows nor cares what exams you are taking except for giving specific instructions.

ah ok. So they won't put a 0 on my score?? they just won't count it ?? Thanks guys!

You need to be sure you never have the third test in your hand.

^ aren't the tests just in one thick book though?

Yeah, they are all in one big booklet. You just turn to the page of the exam you are taking.

hey I'm taking bio/ush/mathII as well!

The best of luck!
