Can I drop all of my courses before transferring?

Hi everyone,

I recently got offered admission as a transfer for this fall for electrical engineering. On my portal under my provisional rules, it says, “Must earn a minimum overall 2.0 GPA in your last regular term.” The thing is, I have already completed all the conditional courses for my major. As of now, I am taking two computer science courses that I am worried may fall below the 2.0 GPA requirement and ultimately jeopardize my admission. My fall 2020 semester GPA was above a 2.0 and my cumulative GPA is above a 3.0, which both satisfy the conditional requirements. So, does UCI care if I drop all my spring semester courses if my conditional courses are already finished and I meet all my other provisional requirements?

I would not drop any courses until you contact UCI and get their OK. Even though you have completed all the transfer requirements, they still accepted based also on your current schedule.
