Can i drop my ap macroeconomics class?

Im a senior in 2nd semester, and i really need to drop my ap macro class right now, b/c im failing it and i know i wont be able to raise it. When we first sign up for an ap class, we sign an ap contract that says that u cant drop ur ap class once your in, but econ is required to graduate at my school, so i might not be able to graduate. Do you think my counselor will let me drop it?

No, probably not.

It’s too late to drop. Usually, counselors give the option in the first few weeks of school, and if really needed by the end of the first marking period (not semester). And your school uses the AP contract, so you have to take the exam even if you switch out. The best you can probably to is study hard and pass the class.
