Can I enjoy engineering if I don't like/am not good at physics? (Reposted from Other Majors)

I posted this question in the other majors forum before…think I will get more responses here.

I am currently a HS junior and throughout high school I have wanted to do engineering and have taken several pre-eng classes which I have enjoyed. I am usually an A- math and science student. This year I am taking AP Physics 1&2 (that’s 2 AP physics classes in one year). I am doing pretty badly (C to C+) in it and I can’t say I hate it but it’s definitely not my favorite subject. So is physics not for me or should I just be taking an easier physics class? And does this mean I would not like engineering? I am mainly considering civil or marine engineering. I am also good at Computer Science (currently A+ in APCS) but I don’t really enjoy it that much.

If you legitimately don’t like physics, then no, you won’t like engineering. If you are just struggling a little (it’s your first time through, after all), but otherwise are okay with it, then you still have a shot at engineering.
