My junior year I had a bit of a gpa trouble. I got a B in AP Physics C both semesters, and Im applying to top engoneering schools to major in enginering. BUT in addition, my A in ap us history dropped to a B second semester junior year. I feel like the competitions will not lead to an acceptance at any top school. Let alone other factors of my application.

Yeah, you can’t really fix grades that already happened. The best you can do is keep your grades up senior year, make sure you do well on SATs and AP tests, get good letters of recommendation, have decent ECs, etc. Bs are not bad grades, and it’s not impossible to get into top schools with a few Bs.

You can deal with this situation by having an appropriate mix of safety, match and reach colleges–just as any applicant should have.
