Okay so I am currently on the track to being Valedictorian in my class of 580. My weighted gpa is 4.375 and unweighted is 4.0. I am scheduled to take 7 AP classes by the time I graduate (the most I could). Assuming I keep on this track and get great PSAT/SAT scores, would I have a shot at a full scholarship? I don't really care about prestige; a degree is a degree, right? Also, I live in Georgia so the Hope may go into affect. I also play soccer at a very high level, although I realize an athletic scholarship may be extremely optimistic. The only thing is I do not have many extracurriculars... I hope this will not eliminate my chances. Lastly, I am hoping you guys could fill me in on a few random things such as: Are the first years of college basically like highschool in the aspect you have to take certain classes, or do you follow your major path? Is tuition dependent upon major?
I have sacrificed a lot for school and am hoping it pays off.
Thanks

Yes, you would have a shot at a full scholarship at many colleges if your PSAT and/or SAT scores are high enough.

The full tuition scholarship in Georgia is the Zell Miller Scholarship. It requires a 3.7 GPA and a 1200 SAT (CR+M) or a 26 ACT. It pays full tuition for any Georgia public college (given admission).

If your PSAT score is high enough for National Merit Semifinalist/Finalist, then there are many full tuition or better scholarships for that:

There are also many full tuition or better scholarships for SAT/ACT/grades:

And finally, there are many competitive large scholarships you could try for:
