I am planning on finishing school with a international economy(perhaps economy double major)+ japanese(minor or major) and german(most likely minor) .Would i be able to get a job with that? I am currently transferring to chapel hill university.

Is there a particular type of job that you are looking for?

I would like to work for abroad! anything with that really

Very theoretically speaking, if you become fluent enough in any language, then you can always reaseach working in other countries that offer work visas similar to the US. Keep in mind these types of deals come with strict parameters and they typically only take certain “needed” professional fields that are sometimes listed on that country’s official website. That or you can apply to US companies that have an international presence that could use your language skills, or if you’re really up for it, you can apply to the State Dept or some other governmental agencies that may not exactly have as much abroad time as you would like.

But, yes, Int’l Econ + very fluent in a language (rare and needed one is even better) = job opportunities.
