do you think i am eligibl 2 get a brandeis merit scholarship? how much of the tuition does it cover? if anyone can help me out i’d appreciate it. thanks.

You should be good for some form of scholarship. IMO, Brandeis was pretty generous with scholarships. Definitely the best out of all the colleges I finished applying to and your stats are much better than mine. You can't hurt to try.

Go for it. If you decide to apply to Brandeis, you are automatically considered for most of the merit scholarships (believe you must make separate applications for the MLK and Bernstein). You also have to complete all of the financial aid forms (FAFSA, CSS, etc), even though the money you are looking for is merit v. need based.

Based on history, you could be awarded some merit aid although probably not a huge award. Bear in mind, though, that standards for merit aid can change from year to year. If you decide to apply, just keep in mind what the cost could be if you are accepted but awarded little or no financial aid, merit or otherwise.

Hey Yankeer. My stats are sort of similar:
740 CR, 790 M, 680 W
SAT II: 800 IIC, 770 US History, 720 Bio
My UW is a 3.96 and i just have a decent extracurricular, and yet I got a full tuition scholarship (Justice Bran.) So really bring your SAT II up, and make ur essay as good as possible (though I don't think mine was that great) and you can probably get a decent amt. i prob. have my stats somewhere around...so yea :)

i'm sure you would get merit aid of some sort. just make sure you apply for financial aid - i know of several people who missed out on merit scholarships because they didn't apply for financial aid.
