@T26E4, you said, “I’m an HYP alum and have been recruiting kids like you since before you were born.”

Intention is not to be picky about word usage, but did you really mean “recruiting”? Or did you mean “interviewing.” If HYP recruits, from what indicia will a student know he/she is being recruited?

@fenwaypark: We can all sense a lot of self importance coming from that poster. Unless he/she is a coach/athletic recruiter he doesn’t do much to impact admissions. I’d prepare for interviews but recognize that they’re pretty meaningless in one’s overall application unless the interview goes horribly.

BM: self important? I was pointing out to our Korean poster here not to discount you, a successful PTon applicant, nor me, a long time interviewer/recruiter for an HYP and that between the two of us, he/she is likely to get some good advice. I don’t follow you here.

This is to acknowledge the PM that was sent to me by a poster in this thread and to say thank you for the information. The site will not let me respond via PM until I have more posts.

Fine. Go on rattling all you want cause the admission officers will judge your personality… and from reading your above posts, it is clear that you have lied in your essays and not really shown who you really are (might hurt you)… But still… Go get selected and do yourself proud… We dont care!! So quit it!!
Your attitude will not let you go far in life unless you work to change it and be a LITTLE grounded. If you will do so, you MAY be successful but right now, all I can say is that please stop being overconfident. Keeping your expectations way too high can affect you badly! Even 2400 SAT and perfect AP students would not be as over confident as you are…
So umm… Be sweet and kind, people will be kind in return. Otherwise we can be mean too!
You really want to get selected and do well? I would suggest that you start by apologizing to all the people on this thread! Otherwise god help you brother!
Good Luck.

“I was National Representative of KOREA to Stockholm Water Prize. Princeton do not see these post, so it does not care.” “I will get accepted and laugh at you.” “I will get ACCEPTED.” “I will be ANGRY if Princeton do not pick me.”

This is one of those rare instances where I wish someone one from Princeton’s adcom is reading this thread and keeping an eye out for the National Representative of KOREA to Stockholm Water Prize’s app to cross his or her desk. It would be like when you see the guy who cut you off and sped away at 90mph pulled over by the side of the road by a cop.

Better yet, what would Tina Fey in Admissions do with this person’s app? Would have made a great bonus scene.

But really, this guy is either a ■■■■■ or an idiot. Neither deserve much attention on the Internet, though both unfortunately get far too much of it.
