I just got my ACT scores back and I am starting to think about college. I am a Junior who goes to one of the top schools in Boston and I am really nervous about college. Will I be able to be accepted to Ivys (especially Columbia) and other top schools like Georgetown, Washu, Boston College etc. If not, is there anything else I can do?
33 ACT, hopefully will bump up to 34 because I just started test prep
3.95 GPA
Model UN- several awards won at large competitions
200 service hours and multiple service awards, 3 year leader and senior president of my service club
national honors society
5 APs
many honors classes
advanced language classes
fall and spring sports
Your profile seems pretty standard as a college application. Adcoms see a lot of people at model UN, and a lot of good GPAs and test scores. I think that while It’s possible for you to get into ivies, it’s unlikely unless you have a really good way to market yourself and set yourself apart. Therefore, Columbia is unlikely, but Georgetown, WashU, and Boston are more likely. Take some leadership roles in clubs, maybe to some research or something over the summer, or do a big project to try and differentiate yourself from the rest of the applicants to these schools, many of whom, I would guess, look similar to you in their profile as it stands. Good luck.
Would you mind chancing me back?

I agree with the poster above. You seem like a pretty regular applicant – nothing will make you stand out.
