<p>Congratulations on your 205's, Captain Acid and wolfpiper. Some schools do offer merit aid for commended's. You will also be getting mail from colleges because of your acheivements.</p>

<p>commended is a national standard. It is not state specific like the semi finalist cutoff. The commended cut off is usually around 200 to 201</p>

<p>Celebrian, you will either be Nat Achievement comm or a semi-finalist (who will make finalist if your grades and SAT scores are high enough and if you submit the form they'll send you next fall).</p>
<p>PSquared, that score is pretty good for a freshman. More important, however, is that he had the initiative to take it. If he studies a lot, maybe he can get it up 30+ points.</p>
