Hmm your GPA is a bit low but you say youre trending upward and have taken a lot of AP classes. Your extracurriculars look solid. Your SAT translates to about a 29 ACT which is in UM’s range.
Im just a fellow applicant and have no expertise but if I were you I would hold off on EA and have a strong first semester of senior year, and shoot for a 30+ on the ACT (or SAT equiv). I got a 30 on my first two tries and then got a 33 on my third. I think it would boost your chances. Like I said, just my unqualified opinion, so dont put too much weight on it.

Hmmm, your GPA is low, and you are OOS.

How did you get such a big gap between your W and UW GPA?

Being a URM well help you a lot though. Depending on what program you are trying to get in to, being a female could help too.

Right now I’ll say reach, unless I am underestimating the power of URM

Agree with the Duck
