Can I get in...or is there no hope for me?

<p>I am a junior and i have a 3.7 (unweighted)...4.2 (weighted)...and i want to go to USC</p>

<p>E.C's: Crafts for kids Club
Science Club
National Honor Society
Varsity Tennis
State Champion
Thousands of hours of community service</p>

<p>But really bad SAT score (1720)</p>

<p>Despite that is there any hope for me to get into USC. If not any school in California...UC's?????</p>

<p>UCs are very competitive for OOS students and, like most state schools, put a lot of weight on SAT scores. I'm not terribly familiar with the UC system, but I'd say the more competitive ones are out. USC probably would be too. Have you considered taking the ACT instead?</p>
