Can I get in RD to ND

From Ohio at a high school ranked in the top 150 in the country
3.8 unweighted GPA
33 Composite ACT
4 Year Football Starter, 2 years all area, Scholar Athlete All 4 Years
4 Year Lacrosse Starter
75+ hours community service
had a job for the past 2 years
Taking AP Bio and AP Spanish
High Honor Roll all 4 years

What do you think??

33 will get your application read. Class rank? Estimate if you don’t know exactly. 3.8GPA in some places is fantastic, in others it’s 75th percentile.

I think a 23 will get your application read also. I think that statement is really misleading. They read all apps.

I’m sorry you were confused. The people who scored 33 or higher caught my drift, as they say.

My school doesnt do class rank but i would say im near the top

i dont quite know if these EC’s are much of anything for notre dame. i could be wrong though, good luck

I think it is quite a misleading to say that ND reads only applicants with ACT 33 or higher. The mid 50% admitted students are with ACT 32-34. ACT 33 is the median ACT score for EA applicants. Apparently, ND cannot accept applicants without reading their applications.

Some of you need to get out more (or maybe read more). “33 will get your application read” is obviously a figurative phrase, not a literal one.

An ACT score of 32 represents the 25th percentile — meaning 25 percent scored at or below 32. If you have a 32, you better have a hook or admission will be tough. Things are better for 33’s.
