I would really appreciate any help Thank you all very very much!

are you in NY or oos?

out of state- new jeresy

My son was admitted ED for the class of 2015 with a 3.0 (unweighted) but high SATs. He doesn’t have near the number of extracurriculars as you either, so I’d say go for it!

I have a 3.4 and do many leadership activities at my school and was denied from Marist but accepted to Fairfield which is rated much higher then Marist. I think that you have a good shot but it seems almost random who they let in because a friend of mine from school who has a 2.7 and does no ec was accepted their. Good luck though!

I’d say that is an impressive resume. Good Luck, I hope you get in. :)

Where is Fairfield rated higher than Marist? My son visited Fairfield and decided not to apply because he just didn’t like it; I thought it was a beautiful school. That being said we did a LOT of research on a lot of schools and nowhere did I find Fairfield mentioned in the same breath with Marist. For my son it is now down to Marist, Fordham and Binghamton with Marist in the lead because of cost/benefit issues.
To the OP look slike you would be a good fit, although one can never be certain when it comes to Admissions or Financial Aid. Best of luck.

The previous poster is probably taliking bout US News and World Report Rankings for “Best Regional Unversities.” Fairfield is ranked “4” and Marist “10”. FYI, SAT scores are in the same range and the acceptance rate at Marist is quite a bit lower than Fairfield (65% vs 36%.) My son was accepted at both schools and is leaning towards Marist and Loyola MD (which was ranked “3”). I try not to pay too much attention to the rankings but they seem to have more of an influence on me than my son.

Yes that was what i was talking about ^^ They are both great schools!
