I've been in Pitt my entire life, I'm currently a Junior. I had a 4.3 GPA my freshman year, 4.0 last year, and am struggling this year with a 4.0. Currently I'm taking 2 AP's and a college physics class that my school offers. In APUS I got a B the first quarter and a B the second, AP English I scored a B the first 9 weeks and an A the second. In Physics, I'm really buckling down because my grade the first and 2nd quarter was dreadful. I'm now scoring A's on the quizzes, really focusing my efforts. I am very involved, have been in my school choir and orchestra since the 3rd grade, I'm in SADD, interact club (I'm running for an officer position) VP of my choir, I volunteer year round since the 9th grade, I am in National Honors Society, and I plan on doing a Bio-medical internship this summer at a hospital I volunteered at for 3 years now. I am in love with psychology, I plan on majoring in psychology and completing the classes required for medical school. My mom is a doctor for UPMC, so if I attend Pitt I get 50% off tuition. I really plan on buckling down and getting a high B in my physics class, as well as maybe getting a high B or A in my APUS class. I plan on writing a phenomenal essay (I write very well) as well as getting 2 letters of recommendation before this school year ends because Pitt has rolling app submission which starts July 1st. I want to have everything in as early as possible. Can I get into Pitt main? Also: I'm taking my SAT March 9th. I'm currently taking an SAT class, and I'm horrible at math ): I took the practice one on college board and scored a 1680 I think. But that was way easier then the actual SAT, and my friends of the same intelligence scored 1520, which I'm expecting. Does it seem like I'll get into Pitt? Also, the internship and my volunteer work was done at a UPMC hospital.
