Hello, I am wondering if I can get into any ivies with the following stats:

SAT: 2200 (730 Math, 700 Reading, 770 Writing)
ACT:34
SAT Math I: 670
SAT Biology: 660
SAT Physics: 730
SAT US History: 770
GPA: 3.76/4.00 (4.27/4.54 weighted)
AP European History: 1 (I'm not going to show this, for obvious reasons)
AP Biology: 3
AP Geography: 3
AP US History: 5
AP Physics B: 5
AP Language & Composition: 5
AP Calculus AB: 5

In senior year I am taking the following AP courses:

AP Chemistry
AP Physics C
AP Environmental Science
AP Literature
AP Calculus BC

I also have a wide range of extra-curricular activities in which I am deeply involved.

2200 is a good score for many good colleges but it MIGHT not be a good enough score for Ivies. Raise your unweighted GPA and start your college essays early. Also, I suggest you to take Math II subject test. It is easier to get very high score compare to Math I.

Look at the results threads for the Ivies. Unfortunately, you’ll find that most successful applicants will have much higher scores and GPAs. The competition is intense, and while a 2200 and a 3.76 might be fantastic for your school or your region, it doesn’t quite stand up to the overall applicant pool. (The exception: if you have some sort of hook or outstanding extracurricular accomplishments.)

Based on the information you provided, I’d say the odds are low. I think glassesarechic summed it up best. Personally, I would suggest applying to schools with SLIGHTLY better chances of admission than Ivy schools as your reach schools. These would be schools that accept 20% to 30% of their applicants vesus an Ivy school which is around 10% to 15%. I would also look at applying ED (early decision) to one school that you would love to attend because, in a majority of cases, the odds improve. Remember that the number of schools who use ED are limited and the decision for the most part is binding.
