I am currently a junior and my cumulative GPA is 3.7 and I got 30 on the ACT. Based on that do you think I can get in?

Based only on your grades, yeah you have a pretty good chance.

You certainly have a decent shot, but I don’t think it’s a slam dunk. Kids at my D’s high school with higher stats were waitlisted this year. I only know their stats, not any of the intangibles, though. My D has a higher GPA (cumulative weighted; her unweighted academic is a little lower) and a slightly higher ACT score and she’s considering Wisconsin a 50/50 school for next year.

I got in with an 1820 and a 3.5ish UW, however I had a rediculous schedule and good EC’s. and fantastic senior grades (I got postponed first, and that whole thing isn’t fun) but yeah, you have a good chance
