As is the case with most students qualified for Georgetown, you definitely have a chance, but GU’s admissions are sometimes finicky. Just because your stats match - which they pretty much do - doesn’t mean you’re definitely in.

And not to sound mean, but you should realize that with your scores you have a chance pretty much anywhere, conditional only on how you present yourself in essays/interviews and where you’re applying (Ivies are ridiculously hard, even if you have perfect Everything). Good luck.

Looks good, but not 100% sure.

What would you like to do once you get in? Correct me if I am wrong, but it seems that you speak in Hebrew and Japanese? Because if you do, along with your grades you have an excellent shot at their Foreign Services program, although it seems you are aiming for medical school.

Source: My sister got in EA with similar grades with 3 fluent languages in a very competitive private school.

Better at Japanese than Hebrew, but yeaa. Also,I’ve taken Spanish every year. I have a love of laguage, but I’m aiming for medical school, with an ultimate goal of doing possibly international medical research. I would pprobably major in psych or neuroscience and minor in IR.

anyone else?

If you’re interested in int’l. med. research, definitely play that up! Tell them that in your interview, essays, etc. Personally I find that to be a really awesome, unique combo. Use your love of languages and your love of medicine to impress them! You impressed me anyway!

Thanks! I do think my passions are very Georgetown-ish, lol.

I don’t know if you can make the assumption that any school has a specific passion that they look for. The point of the school is to have a variety of students.

But just be passionate and make sure it shows through in your essays and you’ll end up where you belong.

Your stats, which I’m sure you know, is on par with Ivies/etc.; a lot of it is about luck, your essays, recommendations, and how well you put together your application.

I didn’t mean to sound like that, I meant that it would be a great place for me, with the sfs and the med school for a lot of oppurtunities!
