<p>hey so yeah with junior year progressing i was strongly considering st josephs as well as others however i am not sure if i can get in i have the following stats:
3 APs this year
AP Language and Comp
AP Governement and Politics
AP American History
2 honors:
Honors Band (preforming arts)
Honors Chem
A math
Algebra 2
and gym and a comp class (school requirements)
i haven't taken the SATs yet but i'm taking SATs and ACTs april
EC wise
Key club (expected president next year) 3years (including next)
model un (expected pres next year as well) 3 years (including next)
marching band 4 years (4 including next)
concert band 4 years
rockathon (charity event) 4 years
as well as some outside things....

i really didn't do to hot freshman and sophmore year gpa right now is like a 3.6
also next year i am taking AP Literature AP micro AP music theory AP bio honors band gym and precalc...</p>

<p>...but not too high. I was Waitlisted with 3.9, 1450 (730/720), 670 Math2/780BioE, 5 APs this year, etc. I think they are playing the numbers to get up their yield and look better in the rankings.</p>
<p>I wasn't serious, but that's what 'safety' schools are all about, right? At the time I told them to keep me on the list in case my reach schools did not come through - most didn't - and have yet to hear back from them.</p>
<p>Was accepted down the street at Villanova but ended up going to Univ. of Richmond.</p>
<p>I agree -liked Richmond a lot, and... didn't feel like paying the way for all the Nova b'ball players. They even fund student jobs, sponsored by the athletic dept., to tutor the athletes and keep them on the team!</p>
