Hi, sophomore is high school here.
I really want to get into IU, but just don't know if I have the ability to.
I have a pretty low GPA at the moment (Under 3.0), but I've really started to pick things up. I'm planning on ending high school with around a 3.20.
I go to a well known high school in Indiana and most people from here go to IU.
I'm on the cross country team and I volunteer on a regular basis.
I'm also a white male.
Do I have a chance?

That low GPA will hurt you for consideration. IU looks at a 3.0 as a minimum. See this site if you’ve not already done so: <a href=“Freshman Applicants: How to Apply: Office of Admissions: Indiana University Bloomington”>Freshman Applicants: How to Apply: Office of Admissions: Indiana University Bloomington;

Realistically how how can you get your GPA by the end of your junior year? That is the GPA that will be used for admission.

You need to do well on your SATs. Class rank will also come into play. Apply very early your Sr. year.

D got into UI direct admit to Kelley school of Business with $10,000 scholarship per year into the honors program.
She also got into UCR with $5000 scholarship per year.
She also got into UCI as undeclared.
These are the choices we have and we live in California.
Unable to make a decision, since indian is so far away and is cold during winters.
Any input on the decision?
