I visited the UA campus this summer and I fell in love…it is my top choice. My stats aren’t so great however, but I do have unusual circumstances…

ACT: 31 composite
GPA: 2.6
Out of state (Minn)
1 AP sophomore year, 1 IB junior year, 1 IB and 2 AP’s senior year

I missed 4 months of school my sophomore year due to health problems and this is why my GPA is so low. My freshman year GPA before I got sick was 3.6, do you think they would look at this?
Thank you so much

Your ACT score really stands out, though your GPA is a little lower than UofA’s average.

I think you’re in. :-bd

I agree, I think a holistic review which UofA offers would suggest an ACT of 31 is good enough to offset a lower GPA with reason. If you have n’t already applied you should consider doing so, the sooner the better since scholarship awards are given on a first come first served, with some exceptions, but sooner is deff better. Good luck

stugace-thank you!
englishman-thank you too, and I have already applied!
