can i get in?

I was thinking about applying to San Diego state university but I've heard it's very hard to get accepted. I got a 1570 on by SATs but that was my first time so I will take it again im an AP student almost all As since freshman year my unweighted gpa is 3.97 and am also in the top ten of my senior class, I participate in a few clubs but have never joined a sport I'm Hispanic if race counts at all and come from a small town in california.

Race does not count for UC’s and CSU’s since California banned affirmative action. You need to calculate your CSU GPA, see link: <a href=“GPA Calculator for the University of California – RogerHub”>http://rogerhub.com/gpa-calculator-uc/

Then calculate your Eligibility index (EI): (CSU GPA X800)+ (SAT Math + SAT CR). If your EI comes out to 3900+ you have a good chance for an acceptance. The more impacted majors such as CS/Engineering/Psych/Business/Biology etc…, may require an EI of 4100+ or more. It all depends on this years applicant pool.
You SAT is about average for SDSU but your GPA is very competitive. You have a good chance for acceptance based on your above Stats. Good Luck.
