<p>Your stats etc are great..but for out of state you usually need a hook and it hurts if you are female.</p>
<p>like i say to everyone who's interrested in attending unc, there's no harm in applying, its hard to judge based on test scores, we don't know wut ur teacher said or how ur essays were. Also ur school does make a difference, carolina says they have some knowledge of most the high schools around so they can compare GPAs. </p>

<p>Of course you should apply..! Sadly they hold stats more dear than recs, essays, etc.
so just keep that in mind.</p>
<p>You have similar stats to mine. Did you apply EA? If so, I think that you have a good chance. Your SAT is 10 pts higher, but my gpa is 3.91 weighted, so a bit higher. Your SAT IIs are very good, a lot higher than mine. But as said before, being from NJ might hurt. Write good essays and i think that you have a way good shot.</p>
