Looks like this is, by far, the most important point you've mentioned. Do you know whether you are good enough to possibly be recruited for a college track team? If you're in the "recruited athlete" category and a coach wants you, you'll have a pretty good shot. Otherwise, it's very doubtful (of course, it's a bit hard to say without knowledge of SATs, etc.).

its what our school does-the 1st hgalf of the year is titled as the honor part and the second hlf is labeled as the AP part-its designed to give extra weight or something-i dunno

But do you guys reccomend me sending this resume to HArvard using my EA??Or is my luck better spent somewhere else

I am the captain of our xc teams and as a sophmore i am very close to the times that Harvards kids are already running.

Okay. If you're really at that level, this is by far your most important asset, and I can't stress that enough. Your job now is to be as successful as possible in cross-country while building a decent supporting case. You should probably contact Harvard coaches (humbly) and provide information about your times to try and elicit interest.

If you really do get a 1560 out of 1600, have great grades, and continue to be a track beast, I think you have an EXCELLENT shot. No one is guaranteed of course, but you'd be pretty darn close. The only thing holding you back would be the few Bs you have.

Stop!!!!!! Are you saying the Harvard runners can only run in the high sixteens for 5k and 4:30's to low 4:40's for 1600?? That's awesome, I can totally do that.

No-my PR for a 5k was 16 28-im consistently in the high 16's
My PR for the Mile was 4 21 and for the 800 was 1 54
I just gave u my consistent times, those are my pr's
