Now, can I get in, and if not, what can I do to improve my chances and how can I improve my sat's
Thanks!

good ECs, nice focus.

just get the SATs up a lot and you will have a pretty good chance in my opinion. you never really know about princeton or stanford though...

I forgot to mention that I have a part time job, working 20-25 hours a week.

What is FCA and Business Professionals of America?

FCA is Fellowship of Christian athletes which is ironic because you don't even have to be an athlete. I played soccer my freshman year but decided it wasn't for me after that. However, I was able to stay in FCA. It's basically a devotion time.

BPA is really nothing. IT's just a pointless club that I can put on my application that I hold a leadership position in. It's basically a bunch of students who are interested in business who get togther and talk. There is a BPA state, i think, but it's really not that important, just another EC.

I thought about starting a non-profit, but it's a lot of work. Has anyone here ever started one?

scores are low for those schools. To improve your chances, i'd try to get 2200+, 750+ on SATII's, and write some good essays. Then you'll have a decent shot.

How do i improve my reading score?

reading is the hardest section to improve, but getting writing up is really easy. Seeing as how the essay hardly matters (on some SAT's you can get a 10 essay and 800 writing section), all you really need to do is memorize the grammar rules. The best way to do so is just buy a grammar book for the SAT, read it a few times, take as many grammar practices as possible and then your good to go. I honestly wouldn't worry too much about the essay, unless you have a 7, but if thats the case I would worry about my colleges essays as well...

The reading score as I mentioned is difficult to raise, because its not like someone can reteach you how to read. There are definitely strategies to the reading section though, for instance if its a vocab problem you can blitz vocab (learn over 2000 new words before you retake the test). To improve the actual reading part, start doing what you should be doing on the SAT in your everday reading; ask yourself questions about what you've just read and see how well your comprehension is.

Do you think it would help if i took a bunch of practice tests or would that just be a waste of time?

practice tests r a big help, go for it

Thanks, any more advice?
