What are my chances? What could/should I improve to lock in my admission?

Thanks!

You will definitely get in. I am not positive if WVU uses weighted or unweighted for scholarships but I would guess they use weighted.

Go to WVU:: Undergraduate Scholarship Office - Residents of Other States Scholarships to see a table for scholarship information. Scholarships start with 3.0 gpa and 1030 SATs or 22 ACT. I got 3k a year with a 3.6w, 3.1 uw gpa and 1270/1910 combined SAT.

Yes, i just got in and i have a 3.72GPA, 1510/2400 SAT, a ton of EC's and volunteer and work experiences. But WVU is my last resort, in case everything else fails, i applied to PSU main and James Madison and Temple and possibly a PA state school

Alright cool guys, thanks for the help!

I am also wondering

What should I work/improve on that'll look good?

you will easily get into WVU. dont even worry about it
i got in about 2 months ago with a 2.8 gpa, 21 ACT, and 1050/1600 SAT out of state.

In that scholarship link, when WVU says Minimum high school GPA of 3.25, are they talking about a weighted GPA or u/w GPA?

So is it basically a lock for me?

unweighted
and i believe you also need a 24 on the ACT as well.

regarding you're chances for admission..dont even worry about it

like i said i got in with a 78 average and 21 on the ACT

Ahh i see that's cool. Of course I'm going to improve my grades and stuff.

The PSAT scores I put up there include writing, math and reading. Is that still fine?

You should totally be fine. Make sure you take either the SAT or ACT, though. I don't think they'll take just PSATs. You have a great courseload, just try to improve the grades. Also, look for other EC's, or find one that you can devote a lot of time to (like, Key Club :) ) Other than that, you should be a lock. Don't fret!

Yeah of course I'm going to take both the SAT and ACT. I just posted that to show an idea of my sat scores.

You can't not get into WVU.
