<p>Just an FYI, being in-state does not make a difference as USC is a private university. However, at the UC’s it will help (and they also don’t look at your freshmen year grades when applying).</p>

<p>Did you score well on the PSAT? If so, you may make National Merit Scholar. If SC is your first choice and you are admitted those scores may qualify you for scholarship funds at SC.</p>
