Can I get into a good college with a 3.76 GPA UW?

Going on here makes me feel like its inadequate, it used to be a 3.8 but it went down because of AP Calc AB. I know they take many things into consideration but judging by GPA alone would an UW 3.76 and W 4.983 be a detriment? I know people with perfect GPAs in my school so it worries me. I am interested in schools like Tufts, NYU, Emory, and Vanderbilt :l

Yes you have no chance at any four year college. A GPA like that is very detrimental. You might as well drop out now or apply to a community college or a technical school.

You’re being ridiculous. Your GPA is enviable.

I guess I am… I don’t mean to sound pretentious I just know a lot of people with higher GPAs :l

My son, who is currently a senior, has a 3.8 UW average and he’s doing just fine with his college admits. Just find colleges that are good fits for you, and you’ll be fine too. And stop being silly thinking that a GPA like that will prevent you from attending a good college. Like a PP said, that’s ridiculous. Get it right out of your head.

Thanks. I probably shouldn’t worry about it
