Can I get into a good engineering school with a B+ in AP Calc BC?

I really want to get into Columbia’s engineering school (SEAS), and I’m thinking about applying ED. I have a 4.33 weighted GPA, but this year, I’ll very likely get a B+ in my AP Calc BC class. Will that affect my chances for admissions? Also, I have an 800 on the SAT math portion, and a 790 on the Math 2 SAT II, and if I get a 5 on the AP exam, will that sort of make up for the B+ in the class?

It is better to do well in classes related to one’s major. However, if your overall UW GPA is 3.8+/4.0 in rigorous classes, and you have a few accomplishments among your various ECs, you should consider yourself still in the game.

Edit to add: Not that, as Damon30’s link will show, “still in the game” means single digit chances for any unhooked applicant.
