An increase in the number of responses is crucial to the security of the Federated States of Micronesia.

Without more information - there is no way anyone can give you an answer that has any real merit. Even at schools that do NOT use the whole admission process, someone would at least need to know GPA (weighted vs unweighted) class rank, and test scores.

Assuming no hooks someone with an excellent application and 3.65 gpa would probably have little chance at top 10 schools but a decent chance at schools close to the bottom of the top 20. Obviously this is highly dependent on how rigorous your school is but I have had a hard time believing there are very many non-hooked students with 3.65 gpas at top 10 schools regardless of the rigor of the high school.

Essentially no chance at top about 7 which admit VERY few under a 3.75 . Still have have a shot at schools 8-20.

Consider though that earning a 3.65 at your highschool might mean you will earn similar or worse grades at a top 20 school, where coursework is much more rigorous/demanding. Don’t take this the wrong way, not saying it’s true, just saying it’s possible.

Admittedly, other for elite graduate schools a 3.65 gpa college is just fine. PhD programs consider rigor in admissions as well so going to a less selective college is unlikely to be a good strategy to get into those. Only if you want to go to law school or med school should you consider going to a less selective school to maximize gpa.

IS there a SAT score that can save me?

There is no certain SAT score that will make or break you but to have a realistic chance a strong score is probably necessary.

I see, okay.

I see, okay.

Somebody got into Vandy with 3.2.

I see, okay.

Bumpppppppp

What else is there to discuss about this topic? If the rest of your application is strong enough top 20 is possible although top 5 or so is probably not.

I see, okay.

While I appreciate your input, I would like more responses from different people. This would obviously give me a better idea of what the community feels, especially considering that some of the people who have responded are of questionable objectivity.
