Can I get into a UC School?

Weighted GPA: 3.95
ACT Composite Score: 28
English: 28
Mathematics: 31
Reading: 24
Science: 27
Writing: 10

AP Class Taken:

Honors Classes Taken:
Honors American Literature with a B
Honors Chemistry with a B

Extracurriculars: Cross Country (2 years), Track and Field (2 years), Member of the Recycling Club

On a scale of 1-10 (1 being horrible and 10 being amazing) I believe my Personal Statement is at a 7.

MY MAJOR THAT I APPLIED FOR IS STATISTICS.

I applied to:

UC San Diego
UC Irvine
UC Los Angeles
UC Santa Barbara
UC Davis
UC Berkeley

DO I HAVE AT LEAST A GOOD SHOT AT AT LEAST ONE OF THESE UNIVERSITIES?

id say low reach for ucd ,uci, ucsb
rest are reaches, and is 3.95 your UC GPA or college weighted

3.95 is my UC GPA

Your ACT score puts you at Irvine, Santa Barbara, Davis, Santa Cruz, and Riverside.

Alright that’s good to hear. But I recently took the ACT again in December and I am currently awaiting my scores. If I can get a 30 composite, could this possibly put me at a good chance for for example, UC San Diego?

UCs are more gpa oriented, and even with a 30 which is around average for UCSD, I think it will be a reach. Maybe if if you took more AP classes or have a bit more ECs, but you never know.

UCLA/UCB: Reach
UCSD: Low Reach
UCI/UCSB/UCD: Match/High Match

To be considered at SD, you would need a minimum of a 32.
