At this point in my life, as a junior, I feel so worthless. I have a measly
3.2 GPA unweighted and im going to take my first SAT in a few weeks and im aiming for around an 1800-1850. I have around 30-40 volunteering hours but i plan to get that to around 60-70 by fall. I also work at a local supermarket on weekends. I took AP European history last year and I earned a score of 4 on the AP Test. I took AP Calculus AB, AP US history, and AP English Language this year, and the rest of my classes throughout high school have been honors other than physics and PE. I live in California, so preferably I'd want to stay in California.

But like I said before, after hearing how most of my friends have higher GPAs(3.6-4.0), along with the long list of people on here that have 4.0s, Im horrified, especially since engineering(mechanical or electrical) is such a challenging and impacted major. Does anyone have any advice as to where someone with my proposed stats can get into? Im hoping I can get my gpa to around 3.3 by the end of the school year. Thanks for any input guys!
