Can I get into any of the colleges?

so i messed up pretty bad in my sophomore year and i worry every night that i wouldn’t get into any colleges…really don’t wanna go to community college. so i applied to UC (Riverside, Irvine, Santa Cruz, and Los Angeles) and for CSU (Northridge, Pomona, SLO, and SDSU) my major for most were education and business
my grades during my sophomore years are like this:
ceramics 2: B,B
english 10: B,A
spanish 3: C,C
geometry: F,D (retook)
pe: A,A
ap bio: B,B
ap world history: C,B
and my junior grades:
ap eng lang: B,B
korean 4: A,A
alg 2: B,B
geometry: B,B
chemistry: C,B
apush: C,B
ap psych: A,A

my overall gpa for uc is 3.417 and for csu is 3.333
also took the new sat and my highest score was 1090…not high
also took sat subject test for korean and got 780

i do have some extracurriculars tho, such as:
college peer counseling during 12th grade, homeroom leader for 6th graders, i was in my choir and praise team for church,
i also did church vacation bible study during 9,10,11th grade, i was student council for my youth group, volunteer at another church teaching 7th graders with summer work for 2 years, i also was a teachers assistant at my church cuhs our church has a preschool for one year summer, also participated in aids walk la and hashtag lunchbag fundraiser. i also have work experience, worked at a bakery for three months and another bakery for a month and phone banking for asian american and pacific islander voters, also vice president for operation smile, secretary for crayon initiative, club member for kiwins, link, unicef. i was also awarded for presidential volunteer service and honor roll award for gpa of 3.0 and higher.

basically this is it…what are my chances of getting into any of the college i applied to?? thank you so much for your help!

For the UCs, probably not. Your GPA and SAT are sell short of their competitive thresholds.

SDSU and SLO are also pretty unlikely for the same reasons. Northridge and CPP will probably accept you but, honestly, it is close so, it will be a nail biter for you.

Good luck!

Freshman admit rates for UC GPA of 3.40-3.79:

UCB: 2%
UCLA: 3%
UCSD: 6%
UCD: 11%
UCSB: 13%
UCI: 16%
UCSC: 47%
UCR: 64%
UCM: 80%

UCR: High Match
UCSC: High Match-Low Reach
UCI: Reach
UCLA: Super Reach

SLO: Reach (Average Business CP GPA (9-11th) 4.02 and SAT of 1342

The rest of the CSU’s use an eligibility index for admissions: (3.33 x 800) + (1090)= 3756.

SDSU: Reach (need an EI 4100+ to be competitive)
CPP: High Match (EI of 3800+)
CSUN: Match
If you are local to CPP or CSUN, you have a higher chance and priority.

I see no safeties? Are yo considering community college if you are not accepted anywhere?

There are a few CSU’s still accepting applications so you might want to apply there: Bakersfield, Fresno, Channel Islands, Dominguez Hills, Monterey Bay and Humboldt. Check the CSU Mentor website to see if any majors are excluded.

Good Luck.
