It isn't the most difficult, nor the easiest. Depending on your field, it is very well respected. If you are in Texas, Baylor is nice on a resume. Just like many other schools, Baylor has some super intelligent people who could have gone numerous other places but felt Baylor was the one, and visa versa. If you look at comparable universities-price, size, goals, Baylor grades out fine. Knights should be fine. Scores are probably enough already-apply early to assure a spot, that way you won't be playing roulette like literaturegirl-sorry for your experience so far. If Baylor is right, it will work out fine, if not, something else will-Best of luck to both of you.

Haha thanks PaPa H. So far no good, but eh.

And yes, Knights, if I have learned anything this year, it's a) beware of expensive schools that have crummy to zero finaid. Don't count on getting much, or anything, with which to go there on. Luckily though, Baylor's really really good on scholarships. It's costing me practically nothing to go there. And most importantly, b) apply for housing AS SOON AS you get your acceptance. There is, evidently, a horrific housing shortage at Baylor. HORRIFIC.

Did you know that Baylor received nearly 24,000 applications last year? Of those, about 8,000 students were accepted. Moral of the story: because of the sheer volume of applications, Baylor isn't an automatic "yes" for anybody. I know of several students over the past couple of years who assumed they'd be accepted and were shocked to find themselves on the wait list.

If Baylor is a top choice, apply early and get your housing deposit in quickly.
